Because our January club meeting would fall on New Years day we will change the date of that meeting. The February meeting will also be changed because it falls during our club trip to Land O Lakes.

March 1, 2007 Prairie Riders Snowmobile Club
Meeting called to Order: The meeting was called to order by President Dan Johnson on March 1, 2007 at the Huddle in Belvidere at 6:30 p.m.
Roll Call of Officers: Present at the meeting tonight were: President Dan Johnson, 1st Vice President Ed Gustafson, 2nd Vice President Carmen Spinelli, and Treasurer Mark Loos; Secretary Pat Henninger
Board of Directors: Present were Rod Kampfranz, Mike Vore, Murray Quincer Chairman, and Pat Kamm
Secretary Report: Secretary report was e-mailed. Rod made motion to accept, Carmen second. Report approved.
Treasurer Report: Mark Loos submitted Treasurer’s Report. Carmen made a motion to approve report, Rod second the motion. Report approved. Bills submitted were for gas for the groomer, $xx.xx. Bills approved for payment. Insurance refund check for $xx.xx was received.
COMMITTEE REPORT: Trail Report: Trails are pretty bare, but there are still riders. Dan was going to take the groomer out, but the trails were pretty well beat down.
Trip Report: Prairie Riders Club trip is planned for February 6 – 10, 2008 at Gateway Lodge. Start planning now.
Activities: Shed clean up day at fairgrounds is set for May 12, 2006 9:00 a.m. Food budget for cleanup is $50. Pat K. made motion for clean-up budget and Carmen second. Gutter replacement schedule will be addressed at the April meeting.
Fundraising Report: Grass Drags – October 7, 2007 Fair Parking – August 7 – 12, 2007
State and Region 5 Report: Great Western Trail was discussed. Rod will do the Club Profile. Region Unity Ride was great fun. Trails weren’t the best and the weather wasn’t real cold, but had a great time. They are still looking for the ‘Dealer of the Year’. Nominations are welcome.
New Business: Fuel tester is now in our hands. Campout – June 23-24, 2007- Rock Cut State Park - Tentative Randy Cloyd to get samples of zip ties. John to get Porta Potty quotes – 12 units and 1 handicap. Foam – 1 ft. square – 4” – protection for lights on grass drag lanes.

Several Snowsnakes: Dan – 4-wheel drive stuck; Merle – law breakers – stop signs?; John – forgot glasses at restaurant; Mark Loos – battery - maintenance and broken rope??; Becky – directions – help for accident?; Dan – daughter took out brother’s tail light?; Rhonda jumped sled – tore saddlebag ? Matt hit Dan ?? Rod – was late all week?? Ray Broke groomer!! Carmen S. – Police pulled over Grant - missed dinner – jail?? Ed – broken suspension bolt?? Alysia – rear ended.
