Meeting Called to Order:
The meeting was called to order by President Dan Johnson on September
1st, 2005, at The Huddle in Belvidere at 6:30 P.M.
Roll Call of Officers:
Present at the meeting tonight were (President) Dan Johnson, (1st Vice
President) Ed Gustafson, (2nd Vice President) Carmen Spinelli, and
(Treasurer) Mark Loos. Secretary Cindy Kampfranz was absent.
Board of Directors:
Present were Rod Kampfranz, Mike Vore, and Pat Kamm.
New Members & Guests:
Kim Moon, region 5 director was a guest at the meeting tonight. Thanks
for coming, Kim!
Secretaries Report:
Everyone received their copy of the secretaries report, either by
e-mail, or mail.
Committee Report:
Trip Report:
Feb. 8th - 11th at the Gateway Lodge in Land O’ Lakes, Wisc.
The club has 5 rooms booked. 8 rooms are still available as of today.
Let’s get them booked. You can always release them later.

Activities:
A summer picnic and golf outing was held at Ed and Kim Gustafson’s
house. All went well. Everyone had a good time, and great food.
Charities:
The club is contributing $500.00 to aid in the relief from Hurricane
Catrina.
Safety Education Classes:
Dates : October 22nd, November 19th, and December 17th.
Classes will be held at Green Giant in Belvidere.

Fundraising Report:
Fair Parking:
Ed Gustafson says all went well at Fair Parking. He wishes to thank all
of those out there working hard!
Grass Drags:
White boards for the new race heat board need frames.
October 16th, 2005 is the date of the drags this year @ the Boone County
Fair Grounds in Belvidere.
There will be a work day the week-end before the drags. Everyone is
encouraged to come out and help.
Miscellaneous Reports:
Region 5 Report:
Rod Kampfranz attended the region meeting. In November at the meeting,
they will be reviewing the map ads. There was a discussion on place
mats, like last year, but they want to make it snow related. The region
wants to have a fiscal budget. They had their food booth meeting.

State Report:
Map ad books are out. Encouraged everyone to book their hotel rooms if
attending the convention. The state needs Photo funnies, if you have
any, Send them in to the Illinois Snowmobile Magazine.
Membership Report:
There are 56 members on file with the State of Illinois for 2005.
Old Business:
Still waiting on the Grant application for the groomer drag and trail posts.
The shed still needs cleaning and organization, and the trailer needs work.
New Business:
The monthly meetings will be held at 6:30 now instead of 7:00
The Huddle in Belvidere will be our new meeting place.
